Phnom Penh: Beong Trobek Drainage canal is one of the waste water drainage in Phnom Penh, people living around Beong Trobek area is very surprise to see the garbage was being cleaned up by the staffs of department of public work and theCintri company. Those garbage were stored in the drainage canal and spread bad and unhealthy smell to people living around. People cannot tolerant of the bad smell of those dirty garbage that spreading unconditioned breathing air to their living. Every day they are living with unhealthy place and breathe with bad smell air that comes from the garbage canal.
It’s been quite long that this drainage canal haven’t been cleaning up. After the order of Mr. Pa Socheat Vong to clean up this garbage canal, the staffs from Department of Public Work and the Cintri Company start doing action as soon as the order. Mr. Long Dimong the reporter of the Phnom Penh city hall, has announced that the garbage waste water drainage in Beong Trobek has been clean up.
Cambodia is facing the garbage environment pollution. Day by day, people using more things and making more waste. Where does those rubbish go? Most of waste water garbage canals are full of rubbishes comes people unused materials.
Plastic had become one of the main waste garbage in Cambodia, especially inPhnom Penh. All along the street and a single road is always comes with plastic bags. Rubbish makes Cambodia goes down, as people can see every sing street in Cambodia we find plastic bag and other wastes.
It’s an interesting topic to discuss about the garbage in Cambodia, because Cambodia is a new country that has just get up from its civil war. So it starts to rebuild its people and its environments. When people started to build things it will come rubbish from their work. But Cambodian people need to invest more on education. It is very important understand about the disadvantage of rubbish and the plastic bags.
People should learn from their mistakes, after dropping the plastic on the road they will find the consequences of their wrong actions. The best way to teach children to take care about their environment is the adults must giving a good example to their children. People must start to clean the own rubbish as they clean their shit.
