Theme: The Ghost House in Kep.
Focus: We will make a video documentary about some old houses in Kep that have been abandoned in the Khmer Rough regime. We will make a very beautiful shoot of Thomas Villa, Romenea Villa, Kep King Palace and other old houses around the modern city during 1960-1965.
Wednesday 12 October , me(Savong), Mr. Vang Van Lida and Mr. ASMATH went outside to get some informations about those old houses. We went to check and we asked some information about Thomas Villa. The person that presently stays in the villa said that this Villa belongs to the government. He just got the rent from the government. After that we went to ask to the Kep City Hall administration. We told them that we want to make a documentary project about those amazing old houses in Kep and we need to know some history of those houses.
The administration of Kep city Hall suggested that we write a letter from the school for the permission to make this documentary. We went back to Crab Market to ask for people for the interview but had no luck because there were not much people that know about this amazing history that happened behind those abandon house.
