One transgender woman from the Philippines was crowned Miss International annual Miss International Queen 2015 in Pattaya, Thailand, on Friday last week.
Miss Trixie Maristela beat 26 contestants from around the world in the finals, while the second winner and No. 3 Miss Valesca Dominik Ferraz from Brazil and Miss Sopida Siriwattananukoon from Thailand. According to media reports, The Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Two contestants from the Philippines, including Michelle Binas and Francine Garcia also has been in the top 10 as well.
Maristela is the second candidate of the Philippines, who was crowned after winning contestant Kevin Balot in 2012.
Miss International Queen is a collection of transgender contestants from around the world and the largest gay pageant 3 the most since 2004.
Before joining a pageant Maristela ever get a winner in the Miss Gay Manila in the Philippines in May.
